We are seeking a skilled and motivated ITOps/DevOps Engineer to join our team at eSIMGo. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimising our cutting-edge IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance of our services, with a focus on supporting our core API-based services and ensuring the smooth operation of our eSIM technology stack.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain the IT infrastructure supporting our API-driven eSIM platform.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery and deployment.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve code quality, automate processes, and enhance system reliability.
• Monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to improve overall efficiency.
• Ensure the security and compliance of our infrastructure and applications.
• Participate in on-call rotations to support our 24/7 operations and assist in incident response and resolution.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of our Knowledge Base and Help Centre.
• Support the integration of our API with customer platforms, mobile apps, and web stores.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our IT operations processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering roles.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (preferably AWS, Azure, or GCP) and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with containerisation technologies (e.g., Docker) and orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack).
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and security best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with eSIM technology or telecommunications industry.
• Knowledge of API development and integration.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and RESTful API design.
• Certifications in relevant cloud platforms or DevOps tools.
